This is the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Klaustur for short, in eastern Iceland. Klaustur is the storyplace of the Grímsson series title, Dust in the Wind. It is a beautiful and peaceful town, surrounded with popular tourist attractions and breathtaking scenery. In the book, some dark and evil things happen there, of course.
